Jay absolutely loves being a Realtor, whether working with buyers or sellers. She can’t imagine doing anything else. Jay has been a full-time Real Estate Broker for the past 12 years servicing Park Ridge, the Northwest side of Chicago, and the surrounding suburbs.
Jay’s business background is in sales and marketing. Her career started in the entertainment industry where Jay gained an abundance of marketing and service experience. She found out however, that her passion was in real estate. Jay believes there is nothing more rewarding than taking the hands of a first time home buyer and placing a shiny set of keys in them.
Jay has earned the Masters Ruby award given by Century 21 for sales in excess of $6m for both 2014 and 2015. Her career sales are now approaching $100m over the past 12 years.
Professionally, Jay is an active member in the Park Ridge Chamber of Commerce and served as Chair of the Women in Business group for several years. She is currently a member of Women's Council of Realtors-Northwest, and held the position of President in 2009. She also served as Director at the Realtor Association of Northwest Chicagoland in 2010.
Giving back to the community she has lived in for over 35 years, Jay is the current Chair of the Park Ridge Farmers Market. In February, 2016, Jay was awarded the Chamber of Commerce “Community Star Award” for her work on the Farmers Market in 2015. The Park Ridge Community Star is awarded to individuals that go beyond normal duties with an extra effort in community building, being a role model to young people, and making positive changes in the community by introducing initiatives and community programs.
Holding the coveted SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist) designation has given Jay the opportunity to work with clients 50+ with their specialized real estate needs. She gives seminars at retirement communities and local libraries sharing her expertise on market trends and offering insight on how to prepare to purchase or sell a home.
Clients can always reach Jay easily and can count on a quick, helpful response. "People trust me with their single largest asset. It's a responsibility I take very seriously. I give 110% because I know that their success is ultimately my success. My goal is to have clients that are so pleased with our business relationship, that they will refer me to their friends and family.”
