For Matthew, the desire to help clients buy and sell real estate is in his genes.  His Mother, Edel, is also a Broker with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage - McMullen Office.  Matthew's Father and Grandfather have also been in construction and real estate for many years, and this makes Mathew a third generation in the family's business.  "I grew up in it, so it was a natural thing for me, a natural progression," Matt says!  One thing he has learned is there's always a market, good or bad, because people do need housing.

Matthew attended the Christian Liberty Academy in Arlington Heights.  While on summer breaks, he learned about construction first hand.  Little did he know that his summer construction experience would prove invaluable when  he began working with buyers purchasing new homes.  Matthew's areas of specialization and focus have been on historic properties, green homes and high-density projects in the Chicago area.  He encourages his buyers to embrace a higher quality of life and the benefits that come with a home that allows for easy commuting and living within their means.

In his spare time, Matthew takes full advantage of Illinois and Wisconsin's rich natural resources and seasonal weather.  He enjoys the outdoors and works to project our natural environment and promote healthy transportation alternatives.  He has a love for music and has written several songs that demonstrate the creative side of his personality.

Together with his real estate family, Matthew's success in real estate comes not just from selling houses, but his constant commitment to learning and growing, both personally and professionally.  Innovation comes from the heart as much as the head, and Matthew is inspired by doing things a little differently.  His passion and commitment to the real estate industry is unwavering, yet his greatest joy is passing that inspiration onto his clients.
